How to use beeswax wraps Beeswax wraps can be used in place of disposable plastic cling wrap, and is flexible and mouldable to the required shape. Use the warmth of your hands to shape the wrap directly around food items like sandwiches or cut fruit and veg, or as a covering for leftovers, salad bowls, fermented food or platters.
How to clean beeswax wraps Wipe your Honeybee Wrap down with a damp cloth and a mild detergent – always be sure to use cool water so you don’t melt the wax. Rinse and hang dry. Beeswax wraps should not be used with heat or on raw meats. At the end of their life, Honeybee Wraps are fully compostable. Honeybee wraps have a plastic viewing window on the cardboard packaging.
