This special handmade set of 2 cups is made of pure copper with a beautiful relief pattern. It is the extra heavy version of 90 grams per cup.

Ayurveda has advocated the benefits of drinking water from copper vessels since ancient times. Ayurveda states that when you store water in a copper bottle or cup for 8-10 hours, it has a balancing effect on the three bio-energies (doshas) that circulate through the human body (Vata: air element, Pitta: fire element, and Kapha: water element). Additionally, water in copper vessels turns into naturally alkaline water, which helps to keep your body's pH level balanced.

Copper discolors over time due to natural oxidation. This is called patina. The material may also show some stains. These are natural properties of copper and do not negatively affect drinking from a copper object. Pure copper reacts with oxygen, water, and residues in water, such as sulfur. It actually means that the object has a high copper content and works well to purify the water. The discoloration of the inside is not harmful. If the discolorations become too severe, you can clean the bottle, jug, water tank, or cup.

Copper vessels are only suitable for water, not for example milk, citrus juices, and acidic liquids.

Do not wash in the dishwasher. Clean with natural soap, a soft sponge, and water at room temperature. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
