Description
Anti-inflammatory. Soothes Stomach Complaints Licorice Root may soothe stomach ulcers, sore throat, bronchitis, chronic gastritis, heartburn, indigestion, colic and menopausal symptoms. May support the function of adrenal glands. Soothes coughs. Relieves bacterial and viral infections. Traditionally licorice has been used to increase fertility in women.
DIRECTIONS Use 2 teaspoons to 1 large cup of water. Boil in water, let simmer for 1 hour for maximum flavour. Simmer with any milk as preferred. Strain, drink hot or cold. 2 cups daily maximum. Children under 12, maximum 1 cup per day, made with no more than ½ teaspoon herb.
