PHGG stands for Partially Hydrolysed Guar Gum and ours is Sunfiber® sourced from India and USDA Organic.  Naturally enzymatically hydrolysed to break the viscosity of the Guar Gum into smaller soluble units that dissolve more easily in water. PHGG is a colourless and odourless dietary fibre that contributes to regular laxation (bowel movements) and is a valuable prebiotic to support microflora balance, digestive health intestinal comfort. When consumed in water at meal times it may assist the body to reduce post-meal blood sugar spikes by decreasing the glycemic index of foods.
