Rye grain has been cultivated and used in many foods in Central and Eastern Europe since the Middle Ages. Our Black Cake loaf contains sprouted rye with a mixture of dates and walnuts for additional flavour and texture, creating a healthy cake replacement. The addition of dried fruit and nuts compliment the ryes rich hearty taste. It is a great option for those who like something a little sweeter while still enjoying all the high-fibre benefits of our sprouted rye loaf.
Ingredients: certified biodynamic wheat and rye sprouted with filtered water, certified organic dates (8%), certified organic walnuts (5%).
